Far guy purchased an over sized Orange Wheelbarrow for me as a birthday gift back about 1988…give or take a year or two..
It is one of those gifts that just keeps on giving..I used it at the lake to haul sticks to the bonfire pit..in North Dakota it was used to haul sandbags..then as a fireproof container when I was trying to thaw out frozen chunks of sand and rock to put inside sand bags (I used a propane torch)…I have used it as a quick washable container for a small batch of cement for some fence posts..I have given Grand kids a wild ride in it.. It has been used around here to haul just about anything that is too much to carry or an uncomfortable armload…Every day now it sits at the ready position with a load of firewood for the outside wood stove.. It has seen better days..it has a few dings in it and it is starting to rust..it had a flat tire..but Far Guy put a tube in it for me..I imagine I can get a few more years of use out of it..It makes my life easier..like I said it is one of those gifts that just keeps on giving:)
Sad update on yesterdays blog…The man suspected of murder, was raping a six year old when he was interrupted by the very brave neighbor lady who fought him off until the authorities arrived. I hope that they lock up this POS and throw away the key.
