This was taken in 1964, at the farm where I grew up. The only two brothers I have are also in this photo, my sister was not born yet. If you look closely our dog "Wally" a Spitz is laying in the snow between me and the car. I was thirteen in this photo..my brothers would have been four and ten. Those fabulous stretch pants must have been in style back then..and colored tennis shoes..a real fashion statement. I obviously had recently endured one of those home perms, a Lilt or a Toni..they were horrible stinky things..and just made my hair even more unmanageable.

Here is the same barn, forty five years later..on a nice day last June. The barn is showing it’s age..much like the children that posed in that farmyard so many years ago:)
Nice way to show then and now. I remember those perms, I didn’t have one though, my hair was curly I kept it fairly short.
Hi Farside — those look like the type of tennis shoes that might be really slippery on the snow. Do you remember if they were?
Hi Ineeda, Yes I believe they were awfully slippery, I should have had on snow boots..:)
Love the “58 Chevy! What color was it? Tourquiose or green? Love classics! Have a 66 Mustang #2 for me. One new in 1966.
Jan, The car was two tone green..I was not sure what year it was ..I put little round marks in the seats using the cigarette lighter one day when I was bored in town. Oh I bet your Mustang is something else!!:)
