Decoration Day

Before we called it Memorial was Decoration Day. It was always May 30th and it began in the South with women decorating the graves of those soldiers that died during the civil war.

It should always be the day that we pause to think about all the soldiers that died during their service to our country:)

One Response to Decoration Day

  1. I want to thank Farguy for his service to our nation!!!
I ususally send emails to all the veterans I know thanking them. One year I got a reply from a schoolmate who said it was the first time anyone had thanked him for his military service. I am so glad I did it and I have to do it again…right now.
    Thanks Farguy!!!!
