I checked out some of the online almanacs. The August moon is also known as the barley moon, the fruit moon, the sturgeon moon (the last one is the Native American name).

A Blue Moon occurs when there are two full moons in one month. The second one is the Blue Moon. There is only one full moon this year in August.
A Blue Moon falls on the night of August 20-21, 2013. It’s a Blue Moon by the seasonal definition, that is, the third of four full moons to take place in a season, in this case between the June 2013 solstice and September equinox:)
